Bo-Bud builds green. Our new homes are Energy Star certified. We use low VOC paints, recycled materials, HVAC systems that exceed Energy Star standards and the newest techniques for building tight, energy efficient homes. Bo-Bud was one of the first local builders to use Low E windows, and we have never stopped working to produce the best built and most efficient homes for the market.
Energy efficiency isn’t the only way a builder and homebuyer can work together to protect the environment. As a developer of new home subdivisions Bo-Bud has always sought to protect the natural beauty of our sites and preserve mature trees. Our Ethel’s Pond community is a case in point. When planning Ethel’s Pond we had the option of draining, filling and building on top of the one-acre pond. Instead, after meeting with the neighbors we choose to preserve and enhance the pond. The neighbors and our homeowners are happy we made that choice and so are we.
